Variable Area Flow Meters

Simple and versatile, variable area flowmeters from Key Instruments measure the flow of liquids and gases. Our rotameters utilize a tapered hole down the center of the flow meter body. The flow indicator, or float, is contained within this tapered hole. As flow passes through the flow meter, this float will move up and down in the tapered hole. This movement serves to indicate the measured flow rate.
