Home Custom Solutions OEM Flow Meters

Key Instruments Flowmeters for OEM applications

At Key Instruments, a premier flowmeter manufacturer, we work with our customers to produce flowmeters of the highest standard for a broad base of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) applications. From delivering oxygen to patients, to wastewater treatment, to regulating argon gas in welding, and more, our flow meters serve diverse functions and are manufactured with a built-in quality and an accurate flow meter calibration that you can rely on.

OEM customers incorporate Key Instruments’ air, water, and gas flow meters into their system or product for commercial sale to end-users. In OEM applications, operating temperature and pressure can fluctuate, which can cause variations in viscosity and often result in damaging effects to the flowmeter. Key Instruments offers acrylic, glass, and polycarbonate flow meters that retain their high-performance qualities even in the most dynamic temperature and pressure operations.

Custom Printing

Key Instruments is also equipped to handle your custom colors and custom company logos with our state of the art flow meter printing operation. Your logo and colors can be printed on either our square or round flow meters. Simply provide us the logo and we do the rest. We have the capabilities to print multi colored flow meters to meet your specification.??

Acrylic Flowmeters
Key Instruments features standard series of acrylic meters as well as custom acrylic bodies. Our custom acrylic bodies are manufactured on site to your exact specifications. We can design and manufacture these to fit your custom application. When an off-the-shelf flow meter just won’t do, turn to KI for custom designed flowmeters. For our acrylic flowmeters, the maximum operating temperature is 150°F (65°C), the maximum operating pressure is 100 psig (6.9 bar).

Glass Flowmeters
Key Instruments features standard series of glass meters as well as custom glass bodies. Our state of the art glass fabrication machines can manufacture a glass tube to meet your needs. Combined with our standard millimeter reference scales, or direct read scales; KI can design and manufacture a custom glass meter to fit your needs. Our capabilities for glass tubes range from providing 1/8" float diameter all the way up to 1-1/2" float diameter. For glass flowmeters, the maximum operating temperature is 200°F (93°C), the maximum operating pressure is 200 psig (13.8 bar).

Polycarbonate Flowmeters
Key Instruments features a series of polycarbonate meters as well as custom molded polycarbonate bodies. Our flowmeter housing can be molded in almost any color to meet you exact needs. For polycarbonate flowmeters, the maximum operating temperature is 150°F (65°C), the maximum operating pressure is 100 psig (6.9 bar).

With Key Instruments you are Guaranteed Precise Flow Measurement

Key Instruments performs extensive quality testing and flowmeter calibration services to attain accurate measurements of the flow metering in the OEM device. Calibrations are performed with accuracy up to ±0.25% of reading using primary standards directly traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Furthermore, we offer assembly and meticulous testing of your sub-systems or products.

Key Instruments collaborates with customers in a wide range of industries to incorporate precision-engineered flow technology into their subsystems or assemblies. If you need a specialized flow meter, Key Instruments can custom design and manufacture to exact specifications whether it is a simple flow meter or complex pneumatic assembly.

We believe in the accuracy of our flowmeters and stand by their high-quality, long-life performance for your OEM application.

At Key Instruments, our success is built on recognizing that product manufacturers need more from their flow instrumentation suppliers than simply providing a standard product catalog.  Manufacturers of medical equipment, industrial gas mixing and distribution systems, aquaculture control equipment, gas and liquid analyzers, water handling and treatment skids, and many others continue to partner with us due to our unique ability to drive costs out of the final product. When maintaining a world-class supply chain is critical, premier product manufacturers call Key.
