Polycarbonate Flow Meters cont.
Features of Key Instruments’
Polycarbonate & Polysulfone Flow Meters:
• Economical and durable
• Resistant to extreme heat and severe impact
• Chemically compatible
• Easily installed
At Key Instruments we rate our materials
based on their cost, maximum operating temperature, maximum
operating pressure, chemical compatibility, and durability.
We created this rating system to provide our customers with
the data they need to make the right decision on what Key
Instruments flow meter will perform best in their flow instrumentation
and measurement applications. The maximum operating temperature
for polycarbonate and polysulfone flow meters is 150°F
(65°C), the maximum operating pressure is 100 psig (6.9
bar). Polysulfone offers a high chemical resistance to substances
such as acetic acid, ammonium hydroxide, boric acid, glycerine,
hydrochloric acid, kerosene, and much more. Polycarbonate
offers a high chemical resistance to ammonium chloride, citric
acid, detergent solution, diesel fuel, sulfuric acid, and
more. Find out more information on polycarbonate
and polysulfone chemical
compatibility.
With precision manufacturing, Key Instruments
is able to manufacture molded tube series of high quality
air, water, liquid, and gas flowmeters made from polycarbonate
and polysulfone. Whether for custom and OEM applications,
we offer several options to our customers that are guaranteed
to improve the performance of flow instrumentation and measurement.
Floats can range from black glass, to stainless steel, to
carboloy, to ruby-sapphire; to any custom material you may
need. These serve as just a few examples of the options available
to Key Instruments’ customers.
Your cost-to-durability ratio
is unmatched, with polycarbonate and polysulfone flow meters
from Key Instruments.
